TRANSFERABLE EFFECTS

The art of painting on canvas which is then glued to a wall or panel was already custom in in the Settecento. The Larghevedute studio paints its trompe l'oeils mainly on canvas and then glues these to walls and ceilings. Interesting advantages come with this technique : the decorators can work in their own atelier and this reduces the time spent in the client's home and, above all, should the client have to move house he/she can transfer these works of art to the new home.
This is the procedure: cover paper is glued to a carefully evened surface using starch glue, then the painted canvas is glued onto this using a vinyl-based product specific for fabrics.
If you would like to know the cost of the trompe l'oeil you have in mind please request an estimate. .

PRICE ESTIMATES

In order to determine an exact price for a project we need to draw a sketch and have such technical details as measurements, subject choice, and a photograph of the premises, if they have already been built, and of the space where the trompel'oeil is to be placed.
The cost of the sketch, normally a 1/20 scale drawing, is roughly 350.00 EURO+ VAT, the price of which is subtracted form the total cost once the project is commissioned. For projects commissioned outside the Milan and Ancona areas a further cost for delivery, travel, board and lodging is charged.
Architect's studios interested in price estimates can request an appointment and we will be happy to show our portfolio of sketches and photographs of finished projects.
