WHAT WE DO
Since 1992,the Milan studio has been designing and manufacturing customized ambient scenes. At the initial stage of project ideas, the customer can anlize and discuss the proposals with the help of colour sketches and scaled cardboard maquettes, before moving on to the final condtruction phase.

The style of paintings from Larghevedute studio draws inspiration from the painting and decoration styles of he eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
All our paintings are unique and exclusive pieces made on natural cotton canvas using classical painting techniques.
The works produced in our studio are then applied to walls, ceilins, doors and furniture. We have a wealth of samples that illustate the propose decorative effects such as haze effects, clouds and trompe l’oeil materials with which to create a refined and elegant ambience.

THE ADVANTAGES OF PAINTING ON CANVAS
Larghe scale
Using sections of natural cotton canvas, prepared with artisan methods , to create and implement large scale paintings on ceilings, or walls up to around six meters by four meters. .

OUR TECNIQUE
The tecnique used is that of scenographic painting:the canvas is nailed to the floor and walking over it, the painting is built up by superimposing layers of watercolor.
When the studio work is finished, it is prêt-à-porter, that is ready to be transported and applied as a normal wallpaper on the chosen surface areas.
DESIGN
The Larghevedute studio work in the same way as scene designers do for the theatre when they design and realize sets: technical drawings are supported by a colour scale drawing or card maquettes in which the work appears studied in its entirety.
INSTALLATION
Once the work in finished the canvas is glued to the wall or ceiling as if it were wallpaper, with the added advantage of being easily transferred and applied elsewhere if necessary.
It is highly advisable to rely on specialised fitters to install wallpaper and fabric wall coverings.
